Launch Site

Great Big Kingdom is team effort between Jay Peak and Burke Mountain to promote ski trip deals between the two mounains.

The challenge with this site build wasn't the back end. This time it was the front end. The backend is using the Silverstripe CMS to manage the images and content. The front end was built using many of the newer CSS3 features to animate the pages. The requirement was to build the site to act more like a story board. Each page would scroll up out of the way and reveal the next "page".

There was also a requirement to make the site display a separate mobile and iDevice layout. I ended up using a combination of phones and simulators to test the display. It was a fairly quick build but definitely pushed me to learn a bit more about building/supporting mobile layouts.
